Someone should continue and perfect the GTA Vice City Stories (San Andreas) MOD

And now there’s GTA 3 on the Dreamcast.

I played the PS1 version as a kid, but in my mind I remember it looking like the windows version in this video. I guess our minds really did fill in the blanks when we were used to playing pixelated games on a tiny TV screen all the time.

Does the digital ps3 version have all the music in 2024

there is the Definitive Edition of this game Pros: updated graphics more polygons batter controls checkpoints better-ish draw distance Cons: ugly models bugs at launch color palate change for worse kloster phobic inducing draw distance (they finally added haze though they could have had GTA 5 like haze) overuse of ai same voice sounds this over GTA 6 and or GTA 5 next gen development by a mobile company horrible car handling

PS2 is massively more powerful than DC. It has higher CPU, SIMD, GPU performance, fillrate, polyrate, multipass alpha. More RAM, bigger and faster DVDs. You have to know how to get that performance out of it though, it's not nearly as easy as DC.

Hello, I know that the video is already a few years old. But I have a question about the comparison in the video. Isn't it the case that the PS3 achieves a resolution of 1080p in the game? You have to manually set the output to 1080p in the PS3's video output settings without selecting the other resolutions. It's not my TV that upscales to 1080p. Does the PS3 upscale the resolution from 720p to 1080p, or is it native? The result looks very nice :)

All the better technical specs in the world means nothing if the resulting games don't look as good. And lets be honest, there were lots of examples where the Dreamcast versions of games just looked better.

With Grand Theft Auto 3 coming to Dreamcast maybe you should do a video on the ps2 vs Dreamcast with that game 😏

We have devs porting gta3 to dreamcast! They've got it running in less than a week (unoptimized) it's in the very early stages, but it looks very promising!

I wouldn’t say sega online was extremely popular cause there weren’t thousands online there were hundreds
